CDA Flower Mound Students Serving Others
CDA Flower Mound 11th grader, Sarah Lyons, worked tirelessly all summer to raise money for a local charity, Journey to Dream's Kyles Place. Sarah, along with other members of her neighborhood swim team, formed a group called Dragons Give Back, of which she is the leader.
This exceptional young lady worked before summer to start planning, and with her team led them to execute on various fundraisers including countless lemonade stands, a large scale Color Paint party event, a (very) early morning coffee stand, homemade dog treat sales, and picking, bagging and selling elderberries. She showed great persistence and fortitude in her leadership and the team achieved their goal of earning $1500 for Kyle's Place! She is truly an amazing young lady and represents Coram Deo Academy well!
