Inquire Today

Thank you for your interest in Coram Deo Academy! As you begin exploring the many educational options available to you, CDA's admissions staff stands ready to address your questions and assist you with your child's application.

To help you make the best decision for your family, we provide several information and tour opportunities.

Campus Previews

Many parents find it helpful to tour our classrooms and observe CDA’s dedicated faculty in action. Campus Previews are offered one morning a month at each CDA location while school is in session (click here for dates).

Campus Previews begin with an abbreviated presentation about Christian, classical, and collaborative education for prospective families. The morning program includes a campus tour with classroom observation followed by time for individual questions with campus administrators and the admissions staff.

Children are welcome to attend with their parents. Reservations are encouraged. You will receive a confirmation email and directions when you register.

Academy Previews

Parents considering future enrollment learn about the means and methods of educating Coram Deo (in the presence of God) from campus administrators and the admissions team.

Academy Previews are not campus specific but rather provide a more in-depth explanation of Christian, classical, and collaborative education for all inquiring families regardless of desired campus. Click here for meeting dates and reserve your seat for the evening/location that best fits your family's schedule.
Unable to attend a formal admissions event? Let us know when you are available for a private tour.

Student Classroom Visits

Older students often express a desire to sit in on a class for a more tangible understanding of what it would be like to attend Coram Deo Academy. Student Classroom Visits provide candidates for grades 7 and above with a special opportunity to get a first-hand experience of our classrooms.

Due to the nature of CDA’s university model, advanced notification is required. This ensures that a suitable schedule can be arranged—most prospective students don’t want to come take a test on exam day! While CDA cannot accommodate a full day on campus, upper school visits typically last 1-2 hours. Please contact your admissions coordinator to make arrangements or add this request using the comments on our inquiry form.

Latin Summer Camp for New CDA Students

Put your Latin fears to rest! Latin is a core element in classical education and we wish to support your child in preparing for a successful completion of this graduation requirement. New students in grades 6 and above (with no previous Latin instruction) are required to complete CDA’s Latin Summer Camp.

The July session is hosted on the Collin County Campus but is open to new logic and rhetoric school students from all three campuses. New 6th graders attend Mon-Wed; 7th grade & above attend Mon-Thurs. Advanced registration is required.

Classroom TBD. Drop off/pick up procedures will be emailed to registrants prior to camp.

Latin Summer Camp connects your child with other new students and provides a great introduction to this wonderful language. Our experience has shown that after camp, new students transition more smoothly into their respective Latin classes in the fall. Additional support during the school year is available through after-school and/or Friday Latin Labs (offerings vary by campus/grade level).
Cross-campus registration is allowed; families may select either session 1 (beginning June 24) or session 2 (beginning July 22), as best fits summer vacation schedules. Students attend the complete session according to their grade level.

Parents of new logic and rhetoric school students are invited to stay after drop-off on the first day for an informal Q & A session with upper school administrators. Room location TBD.
