Girls team takes 2nd place at Lena Nelson Relays

In a small glimpse at our new district next year, the ladies team showed they may be more ready to move up then at first thought. The lady lions took home a second place finish, behind another strong performance by Laina Ewoldt. However, Freshman Kate Radovich followed Ewoldts example of giving her all for the team. Radovich competed in 4 Varsity events and showed her competitive nature by scoring a team high 25 pts. for the second place lions. Additionally, Colette Harris continued her dominance of Pole Vaulting by taking another first place. Finally, the distance girls took the top 3 places in the 800 meters. Hoffman and Mullen also took 5th and 8th respectively. It was nice seeing that many CDA Lions uniforms in the heat of the race. Congrats! Keep working hard! The Track and Field team will again enter competition this Thursday, March 6th at Prince of Peace.
