School Leadership

CDA Senior Administrators

The senior administrators of Coram Deo Academy are all committed to Christian education. Each of them have sacrificed earthly compensation for the rewards of ministry from the LORD. They are all examples of servant leadership and excellent teachers in their own right. We are blessed to have them doing so much of the unseen work so that your students and their teachers can be free to teach and learn.

Dean of Schools - Mr. William Rector

Bill Rector is the Dean of Schools.  Bill brings a wealth of experience to this position.  He has served CDA for many years in a variety of roles including classroom teacher, upper school director, math and science chair, and headmaster.

Prior to working with CDA, Bill was an engineering director with Sprint where he worked in various supervisory and engineering roles from 1987 through 1999. An Iowa native, Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Iowa State University.

After teaching part-time at CDA for two years, Bill fell in love with the method of education and the passion of the teachers at Coram Deo.  Like the parable in Matthew 13:45-46, having discovered something “so noble and valuable” he then left his other job to work full time at Coram Deo in 2003, bringing his entire family with him.

Bill is married to Donna, his wife of 28 years and has three children ages 20, 18 and 15. His wife was a math major at Iowa State and they met when he offered to tutor her in an abstract algebra class. Bill and Donna attend Country Fellowship Dallas where he is also among the teaching staff.
