Congratulations Aaron Dutka: TFA State Champion!
Flower Mound sophomore Madison Pitts and Collin County junior Aaron Dutka represented Coram Deo Academy at the Texas Forensic Association's State speech tournament in LaVernia, Texas last week.
The tournament included 250 public and private schools from all over the state.

Madison was entered in Poetry Reading and Aaron was a senator in Congressional Debate.
Out of 70 senators, Aaron placed first and became CDA's first TFA State Champion!
CDA has had finalists in previous years so this is a tremendous accomplishment. Aaron and coaches Abby Boerger and Gerri Colvin attended the Breakfast of Champions Sunday morning where they were congratulated via letter by Texas State Senator Judith Zaffirini and addressed by Texas Representative John Kuempel from District 44, who encouraged the winners to maintain the lost art of public speaking.
