CDA Choir Goes to Alaska

Over Spring Break, the CDA Choir spent time spreading the gospel in Alaska.
Students from the top choirs on the Flower Mound and Collin County campuses spent their Spring Break on a mission trip to Alaska. The choirs sang in three churches, a skating rink, a shopping mall and an impromptu concert at the start of the Iditarod Race! We were based outside of Anchorage and saw a lot of moose, gorgeous mountains, frozen lakes, beautiful sled dogs, some reindeer and giant snowflakes. In addition to encouraging the churches there and handing out hundreds of goody bags with the gospel message inside, they got to dog sled and snow tube, ice skate, build a snow fort and throw LOTS of snowballs at each other. We stayed all together in a beautiful log cabin out in the country. Friendships were forged, relationships renewed and we all drew closer to God through His amazing creation and every night as we gathered to worship. I am so proud of these students and will be forever grateful for our time together!
