Logic School Advanced Art In Action

Mrs. Witt, Flower Mound, Logic School Art, has been developing her students in the workings of drawings on toned paper of Italian marble sculptures. "Every piece can be a story of redemption, a story of hope, a story of mercy, a story of goodness essentially a story of Christ lived out through their lives. "
I am so incredibly proud of my logic art students. Here are some pictures of my advanced logic art class working on drawings on toned paper of Italian marble sculptures. The objective was to capture the likeness of the sculptures with an emphasis on light and shadow, paying close attention to value changes to create dimension. The lesson also included symbolism in art. I've challenged my art students this year to dig deep and put meaning into their artwork. I desire for them to know the amazing platform the visual arts can be. Every piece can be a story of redemption, a story of hope, a story of mercy, a story of goodness essentially a story of Christ lived out through their lives.
