• One school, 3 campuses

  Coram Deo Academy is one school with three campuses in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. Our locations in Plano (Collin County), Dallas and Flower Mound serve more than 790 Christian families. We have one mission and the same vision. The curriculum and academic standards are the same for each campus.

• Faith matters

  82% of the Class of 2018 volunteered at their church while 47% went on a mission trip during their rhetoric (high school) years.

• Interdenominational student body

  The families of Coram Deo Academy must adhere to the Christian faith. We worship in over 200 local churches.

• Total enrollment of 1325 students (district)

  1325 students started the 2018-2019 school year at our three campuses:

  • Collin County –  484 students in grades PreK-12
  • Dallas – 136 students in grades PreK-8
  • Flower Mound –  705 students in grades PreK-12

• Small class sizes

  The average class size at Coram Deo Academy is 13 students. Coupled with our collaborative approach, our students get a lot of individual attention!

• Above average test scores

  Students at CDA outpace the national and state averages for college admissions tests. For the Class of 2017 the average SAT (CR+Math) score was 1237 and the ACT average was a composite score of 27.5.
  
  
  

• 82% of the 2018 graduates were offered scholarships

  The class of 2018 had 68 graduates including 3 National Merit Commended students and 1 Hispanic Scholar.  Five students accepted full tuition scholarships while 18 students were offered scholarships of at least $100,000.  Thirty students were offered Presidential or Chancellor Scholarships. This class was offered over $9,400,000.

• Exceptional pass rate for AP Exams

  The Class of 2018 is required to take 6 AP classes and have the opportunity to take 4 additional AP/Dual Credit courses. In 2017, CDA had 91 students taking 185 AP tests with a pass rate of 82.4%. The average pass rate on AP exams for Texas Students in 2017 was 49.8%.

• 16 National Merit Finalists

  Since 2007, CDA has had a total of 16 National Merit Finalists, 8 Hispanic Scholars, and 41 Commended graduates.

• Accomplished student athletes

  This year was a remarkable year for our student athletes.  Our other accomplishments were:

  • CDA Drill Team won National Championship
  • 48 Academic All State Student Athletes
  • 7 State Championships with 20 First Team All-State Awards
  • 10 Regional Championships
  • 11 District Championships with 45 First Team All-District Awards
  • 8 Individual MVP awards and 2 Newcomer of the Year Awards
  • Four student athletes signed letters of intent to play college athletics.

   

• Excellence in fine arts

  CDA students shine when it comes to fine arts.  Here are some of our accolades:
  

  • ART: Eight students competed at the VASE (Visual Arts Scholastic Event) Regional Art Competition and all received top ratings.  Two students advanced to State and medaled receiving the top score on their combined paintings. One student won the Best Landscape Painting Award at the State VASE competition beating out 35,000 other entries and receiving a $500 cash award. CDA Art students competed at the 2^nd annual Truth, Beauty and Goodness art contest – a state-wide competition with classical Christian schools.  Four students earned top awards.

  
  

  • BAND: CDA placed 15 students in All State Band. A record-breaking 26 soloists and 10 ensembles advanced to TPSMEA State Solo & Ensemble. Symphonic Band received the Sweepstakes award for the 6^th year in a row with straight 1's from all three judges at TPSMEA Concert and Sight Reading Contest.
  • CHOIR: Consistent state level superior rankings for solo & ensemble - 9 years running! Over 60 students competed at the Regional level. At the State competition, all CDA students received the top score for every solo and ensemble. Eleven singers were named to TPSMEA All-Region Choir and 2 students made All-State Choir.
  • DRAMA: The One-Act Play has been to the state meet 4 times in the last 4 years and placed second in 2015 and 2017.  Cast and crew have been awarded numerous all-star and honorable mention individual awards, including Best Actress at the state meet.  CDA Theatre performed their first dinner/dessert theatre with the musical "Oklahoma!" in 2017.
  • SPEECH & DEBATE: The CDA speech team competes in Texas Forensic League, Texas Association of Private & Parochial Schools, and National Speech and Debate Association.  CDA students placed at every regular tournament attended in 2017-2018. This past year’s awards included TFA State Congressional Debate Champion, 2 TAPPS State Champions in Persuasive Speaking and Lincoln-Douglas Debate and 2 finalists in the National Speech and Debate Association's National Qualifying Tournament.
  • YEARBOOK: Our 2017-2018 yearbook won first place at University Model® School International’s annual yearbook competition.
