CDA FM Speech Team Wins!!
CDA novice competitors placed well in the Creekview High School Winter Extravaganza speech tournament this past weekend. Sophomore Jackson Clark placed fifth in Informative Speaking, where he wrote, memorized, and delivered a ten-minute speech using visual aids.
Freshman Ianna Chan placed fifth in Original Oratory, a ten-minute speech she wrote, memorized and delivered. Freshman Ellie Gilbert placed third in Poetry Reading, where she found, rehearsed, and read a poem of her choosing. Congratulate these students, who competed very well against 14 larger area schools.
