Our mission is to use our vocal talents to worship our Savior and draw others to do the same.
Coram Deo Academy offers choir programs for all skill and experience levels from 5-12th grade. In addition, students have the opportunity to join student-lead worship teams that serve during chapels throughout the year at each high school campus.
In our choir program:
We strive to pursue musical excellence as well as a love of music.
We learn music theory and music history to form a base from which to learn musical expression.
We sing a variety of music from ancient to modern.
Since 2008 we have had students excel at the region and state levels of Solo & ensemble competitions.
Since 2010, Coram Deo Academy has had students selected for the all-region and all-state choirs.
In 2015, we began competing in the medium ensemble completion.
Sharon Miller loves being a part of the Coram Deo Academy family as their choir director! She works on both the Flower Mound and Collin County campuses and brings 29 years of experience teaching music to students of all ages. Sharon is married to Glen Miller, also a choir director, and has four grown children and eleven grandchildren including a set of triplets. Their two sons are music teachers as well so it is safe to say that music is this family’s passion!
Sharon loves teaching junior high and high school students and is so proud of the hard work her students have put in this year. She is grateful to God for the opportunity to teach at Coram Deo!
