MLK Lectures

Matt Holland
On January 15th, at our Flower Mound campus, we offered a series of Martin Luther King Jr. lectures. A small group of staff, students, and families sat in attendance while we considered the great spiritual impact of the civil rights giant and what we must now do as the church moving forward. After watching footage of MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech, we heard Tyson Guthrie call us to listen to the diversity of voices in our churches and communities. Then Matt Holland closed by identifying the church as the biblical starting point for racial unity in society.
