Signature Programs

Students enrolled in the Signature Program receive professional instruction on campus two to three days a week and study at home under the tutelage of their parents the remaining days, with some students attending Monday/Wednesday and others Tuesday/Thursday. Arts and athletics are available as electives at the published rate.

  • Notes

    1. Application Fee for PreK – 3rd grades includes admission testing. Students applying for grades 4-12 pay $110 directly to ERB for the Independent Schools Entrance Examination (ISEE).
    2. The one-time New Student Enrollment Fee is discounted 50% for the third and subsequent siblings in a family. For PreK students, this fee is assessed evenly over two years; if eligible for the sibling discount, the entire fee is due the first year.
    3. The Consumables & Technology Fee covers online subscriptions as well as the cost of materials used and distributed in class that are not available from the book vendors. 
    4. Signature Program students pay $500 per sport or 90 minute elective class; 45 minute elective courses are $255. Elective tuition is for the year, not per semester, unless otherwise noted.
    5. Families are required to purchase their students’ books and uniforms. The costs below are approximate numbers for first time purchases and are based on new textbooks and non-sale prices for uniforms.

Five Day Tuition

Students enrolled in the Five Day Program attend classes on campus five days a week in a university model schedule and complete their homework assignments on campus in a professionally staffed learning center. Currently available at the Flower Mound Campus only (grades 5-12).

Payment Plans

Tuition accounts are processed by a tuition management service. All CDA families must have an active Smart Tuition account.

  • Currently Enrolled Families

    Currently enrolled families may monitor account activity through CDA Connect on the Resources (single sign on) or at www.smarttuition.com. Updates to banking or credit card information may be made directly online to Smart Tuition at any time. The Smart Tuition Customer Service Center also provides 24/hour support at 1-888-868-8828.
  • Parents of New Students

    Parents of new students will be prompted to create a Smart Tuition account upon acceptance. Enter school code 10628 at https://enroll.smarttuition.com along with your email address to begin your Smart Tuition registration. Please note, CDA’s enrollment process is not considered complete until your Smart account has been activated.
  • Plan Options

    Families may choose from three payment plans. Tuition insurance is available for all options and is mandatory for the monthly installment option.
    • One Payment: pay in full by March 5; or if enrolling after this date, then by the 5th of the month following enrollment.
    • Two Payments: pay 50% by March 5 (or if enrolling after this date, then by the 5th of the month following enrollment) with the balance due July 5. Must be enrolled by June 1 to select the two-payment option.
    • Monthly Installments: pay equal monthly installments by automatic bank draft or credit card March through February.  Students enrolling after March will have a compressed payment schedule with final payments due in February.  An annual $50 Smart Tuition Fee is assessed per family for the monthly payment option and participation in the Tuition Reimbursement Program is mandatory.
