Coram Deo Voices Take the All-State Stage
By Editor (Tim Friske)
Students from both the Flower Mound and Collin County campuses were honored to participate in the prestigious TPSMEA All-State Choir, held January 29–31 at the Eisemann Center in Richardson, Texas.
Representing Coram Deo Academy’s Flower Mound Campus were RJ Arnwine, Porter Born, Maggie Branch, Ivy Hull, and Emmy Scoggin. From the Collin County Campus, students Tate Colby, Eric Fair, and Julia Naizer also earned the distinguished honor of selection.
From Thursday through Saturday, the students rehearsed and performed a diverse and challenging repertoire of choral works in English, Latin, French, and Russian. The All-State Choir was conducted by Dr. Gary Seighman, Professor and Director of Choral Activities and Chair of the Music Department at Trinity University, one of the nation’s leading liberal arts universities.
Under Dr. Seighman’s baton, the ensemble delivered an outstanding performance on Saturday, January 31, showcasing both technical excellence and expressive artistry. Participation in the TPSMEA All-State Choir requires rigorous auditions, meticulous preparation, and a high level of musical commitment.
Mrs. Kiser commended the singers for their diligence and perseverance, noting the dedication required to earn a place in this elite ensemble. Their achievement reflects both individual talent and the strong choral programs at Coram Deo Academy’s Flower Mound and Collin County campuses.
Congratulations to these eight students for representing Coram Deo Academy with excellence at this year’s TPSMEA All-State Choir.
