Alumni Spotlight: Bryton Praslicka
Dr. Bryton Praslicka leads the development of advanced magnetic gear systems and motor-drive technologies designed to improve reliability, efficiency, and performance in challenging environments.
A proud graduate of Coram Deo Academy’s Class of 2015, Dr. Praslicka went on to earn both his Ph.D. and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. While at Texas A&M, he received numerous honors, including the Distinguished Graduate Student Award and Distinguished Dissertation Award, and was recognized for his commitment to the veteran and international student communities.
He was recently named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the Manufacturing & Industry category. His technical contributions include over a dozen peer-reviewed publications and multiple patents in the fields of electric machines and non-contact gearing technologies.
Outside of his professional work, Dr. Praslicka and his wife, Chloe, are active members of Seven Mile Road Church in Houston, a grateful community dedicated to journeying together, beholding Jesus, and spreading hope.
