Coram Deo: An Answer to Prayer
Coram Deo Academy is a place where Christians from different churches can come and learn and grow in Christ together. It is my first schooling experience where knowledge of Christ is connected with everyday learning. We not only learn how to use algebra, but how to use algebra for the glory of God.
The time we spend in the scripture every Tuesday and Thursday morning is a blessing and a beautiful way to start off the school day. Some of the things we do are slightly different from what we do in my church, but I love to see how other Christians worship Jesus. Going to Coram Deo Academy has caused me to grow in my relationship with God and fellow believers.
Coram Deo has an atmosphere of spiritual, brotherly love. Everything we do is done with love. I always loved ice-skating with my family, but as my brother and I got older, we stopped going. As winter came around, I prayed that there would be an opportunity to skate with my friends. When I heard about the CDA Dallas skating party, I was so excited! It was a wonderful time where friends and family of all different ages could have fun together. Everything about Coram Deo has been an answer to prayer.
Coram Deo truly heeds I Corinthians 1:10, “Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”
