The CDA All School Chess tournament happens every spring. We have a section for Grammar, Logic, an Open Section for parents, teachers, staff, grandparents, alumni and guests as well as a $500 College Scholarship Section open to CDA Students from Collin County, Dallas, and Flower Mound.  The purpose of the CDA Chess Scholarship fund is to encourage our students to continue playing Chess in college as well as helping them with tuition costs.  $500 Past College Scholarship Winners 2026 Jedidiah Yeh 2025 Micah Messick 2024 Jedidiah Yeh 2023 Altin Pinar
