Mid-Cities will be our newest fully-accredited CDA campus opening for the 2020-2021 school year with grades PreK-4! Additional grade levels will be added in the future. This new campus will enjoy the advantage of Coram Deo Academy’s 20+ years of experience in providing exceptional Christian, classical curriculum, well-established parent/teacher collaboration and fun opportunities for student to excel in fine arts, athletics and other elective areas.

Logic School | Grades 5-6

Mid-Cities will eventually add middle school grade levels; many classical schools identify grades 5-8 as Logic School. During this stage, the students study the relationship of facts they learned at the grammar stage and how these facts fit or work together. Logic School is a place where more questions are asked and deeper understanding is pursued. Our curriculum is designed to move students beyond questions of who, what, and when, and into the brave new world of why and how. You may not have an answer key for every homework assignment, because part of the goal of the Logic School is to teach students the art of intellectual struggle. Although Bible is not a separate subject after 5th grade, a Biblical worldview is interwoven into the teaching of all subjects.

“I'm very thankful for all the teachers, coaches, and staff who pour into my son. They affirm his gifts & abilities and guide him with grace & patience when he needs correction. As the culture gets more challenging, I feel 100% confident when I drop him off at CDA that next to our home or church, he is in the best hands. I see him growing into a leader more each week and I'm thankful for everyone at CDA for seeing the best in him, encouraging him, & helping him to be a wise thinker!” Logic School Parent

Logic students will attend core classes on Monday/Wednesday. Logic School is a wonderful time to discover and explore new interests. Optional Friday electives give Logic students an opportunity to enhance their learning through a variety of enrichment offerings.

All of this and more takes place alongside a community of dedicated and experienced faculty who are committed to partnering with families to train ethical servant-leaders and wise thinkers who will shape culture for the glory of God.

Grammar School | Grades PreK-4

Students in grades PreK-4 are at the grammar stage of learning with a focus on breaking new concepts down to the required fundamental skills or facts and mastering them through memorizing jingles, chants, and songs. Each class also has an annual festival which gives students the opportunity to share what they have learned with their fellow classmates and parents - it is fun way to start public speaking at an early age!

“The entire object of true education is to make people not merely do the right things, but enjoy the right things — not merely industrious, but to love industry — not merely learned, but to love knowledge — not merely pure, but to love purity — not merely just, but to hunger and thirst after justice.” John Ruskin

Grammar students attend their core classes on Monday/Wednesday and have the opportunity to participate in a variety of electives on Friday whiich will include Hands on Science, PE and Fine Arts. These electives are designed to provide fun and exciting ways to supplement the core curriculum.

Students, teachers and staff will have daily morning chapel.  What a wonderful way to begin the day worshipping the Lord with prayer, learning hymns, and learning scripture through object lessons.   While we will read scripture and pray every day, we will also occasionally reflect together on a work of art or music that interacts with a specific passage of Scripture. Or we might view something from pop culture’s recent repertoire and see how it compares and contrasts with Christian themes.
The goal of our Chapel program is to equip our students to integrate their faith into their entire day throughout their entire lives.
