Welcome to CDA!

Coram Deo Academy was founded by Christian families who wanted to play an active role in their children’s education. Since its beginning in 1999, Coram Deo has grown from 57 to 1,060 students on three different campuses, because families love the Christian atmosphere, the rewards of the rigorous classical education, and being an integral part of their children’s studies.

Due to the dedication of parents and faculty, our students regularly test in the 89th percentile and above. With over 200 graduates, Coram Deo has alumni at schools such as Hillsdale College, Abilene Christian University, and Boston College as well as the US Coast Guard, Air Force, and Merchant Marine Academies, and all major Texas Universities. For the last three years each graduating class has had two National Merit Finalists and at least two Commended Students.

Mission Statement

Coram Deo Academy educates youth in a historic Christian worldview through a vigorous classical curriculum. The goal of CDA is to train ethical leaders and wise thinkers who will shape culture for the glory of God.

Admission Resources

Coram Deo Academy, a classical Christian school in NorthTexas, seeks to train Christian youth to glorify God by recovering our legacy, that of all Western Civilization. CDA respects and approaches each subject with a historic Christian worldview.

The academic program is designed to develop the student through classical Christian learning so that the knowledge (grammar stage), understanding (logic stage), and wisdom (rhetoric stage) of each subject are acquired with increasing sophistication as age, grade level and ability rise.

Students are taught chronologically, beginning all subjects with creation and ending at modernity. Students at CDA from grades PreK to12 will traverse the story of the world three times, every time in greater depth than the last. All studies- history, literature, art, music, math and science are taught simultaneously in their historical context. Knowledge is then learned line upon line, precept upon precept for greater understanding.

Classical elements such as Latin, Logic, Rhetoric, good and great books are provided as formal classes and integrate across the curriculum.
