Congratulations to our Lady Lions this season for going 9-1!

They have defeated every team in the district, making them district champs and shooting them into the second round of the playoffs!

Led by setter Holyn Duyck (Jr), the Lady Lions have become a fast-paced and hard-hitting team.  With middle blockers Ellen Middleton (Sr) and Kaleigh Longcrier (So) leading the team in kills and hitting rating, they established a quick tempo in the middle and opened up the whole offense.  Outside hitters Brayden Deal (Jr), Lydia McCrummen (Jr) and Brenna Hennings (Fr), along with right side hitter Claire Maxam (So), took advantage and caused all kinds of problems for opposing defenses out on the perimeter.  The team as a whole raised their hitting rating by a tremendous 72% from last season.  This was only possible because of the improved play in the backcourt.  Libero Allison Lewis (So) and defensive specialist Erin Royall (So) are the heart of the defense.  They had a hand in every kill. Without them, there would be no offense.

Every step they took and every win they scored set the bar for future seasons.
