Life Science

Coram Deo Academy students will read, discuss, write, and participate in labs about general and life science. Through the study of the history and development of science and technology throughout time, the students will learn about the major events the formed what we call science today. The students will consider the changes in the world-view from one time period to another and how it affects them and their beliefs today. Students will learn and utilize the scientific method. Throughout the year, the students will experiment with simple machines, debate catatrophism vs. uniformitarianism, learn to use the microscope, discover and classify life forms and learn about the human body.
