Dear Parents,

Although temperatures continue to drop, most weather reports I've checked indicate that the precipitation across the metroplex is ending. We trust the roads will be clear in the morning and not affect this week's PreK-First grades preview meetings.

Campus closures or delayed schedules will be posted on the Coram Deo Academy website so please check in the morning if you are heading to A Child's Garden at our Dallas location tomorrow. We also will endeavor to contact registrants directly.

We are looking forward to a special time together as we explore why classical education is so important in the early years. Join us for "A Child's Garden."

Warm regards,

A Child's Garden:  PreK - First Grades Preview

Launch your little one on a classical Christian education as you cultivate a love of learning through CDA's collaborative model. Discover the delights of the grammar stage and plant the seeds early so your child will flourish in the logic and rhetoric levels.

A Child's Garden will address questions such as:

  • How does CDA infuse a Christian worldview at the grammar level?
  • What are the essential building blocks of early childhood education and how does the classical approach differ from others?
  • What does a typical school day look like on campus?
  • What is involved with the "at home" component? How will I know what my child needs to complete during our home study time?
  • How can I best prepare my child to enter Coram Deo Academy?
  • What if my child misses the September 1st age cut-off?

For the parents of potential PreK, Kindergarten and First Grade applicants. Kindly make childcare arrangements for your toddlers and/or preschoolers; this meeting is for parents only. Reservations enable us to prepare enough gift bags; thank you for registering in advance.

Learn Latin with me

My own children have benefited greatly from their study of Latin at Coram Deo Academy. Alas, I was not blessed with such an opportunity growing up. I hope you will enjoy expanding your knowledge and will come learn with me....

Qui parce seminat, parce et metit.

Who sows sparingly also reaps sparingly.
