~Important January Dates

~Words of Wisdom in Latin

Dear Parents,

January typically is a busy month in school admissions!

If you have not yet attended an admission meeting, we look forward to visiting with you next week when each campus will host school tours.

If your child's application is already in progress, please stay in touch with your admission coordinator so we can complete the admission process in a timely manner.

Admission testing is in full swing now. Grammar level applicants are being scheduled for testing and our first ISEE will be given on Sat., Jan. 28. Candidates for grades 5 and above have another opportunity to test on Feb. 25. Please click here for details.

Warm regards,

Barbara Rogers
CDA Admission Director

Learn Latin with me

My own children have benefited greatly from their study of Latin at Coram Deo Academy. Alas, I was not blessed with such an opportunity growing up. I hope you will enjoy expanding your knowledge and will come learn with me....Just for fun, some New Year's Resolutions in Latin:

Hoc anno ego pro certo diaetam sequi incipiam.

This year I am definitely going to go on a diet.

Hoc anno ego pro certo musculos saepius exercebo.

This year I am definitely going to get more exercise.

Hoc anno ego pro certo abuti modo subiunctivo desinam.

This year I am definitely going to stop misuing the subjunctive.
