English IV: AP-Rhetoric

Coram Deo Academy is committed to equipping their students to enter society with the ethics and ability to persuade and influence, so that they can take their place in society as an effective citizen. The student will learn to think thoroughly and clearly about topics, presenting their arguments in written and oral form using classical rhetoric.  Students will study different genre in combination with their writing and speaking preparation.  World-views are addressed in every class as students learn the history of Western Rhetoric and the differences between rhetoric of the East and West.
