Electives Policy

Families are encouraged to take advantage of the priority elective registration period (January 1 – April 30). Some classes reach capacity quickly so early registration is advised. When a student (either new or returning) enrolls by submitting an Enrollment Covenant, elective registration is made available through his/her CDA login.

Drop or Changing Electives

Coram Deo Academy makes contractual commitments to faculty, staff and facilities long before the start of a new school year. Early registration assists the school in making wise decisions and preparations for a robust elective program. If necessary, changes to the published schedule will be determined no later than August 1.

Should the family initiate the schedule change after the priority registration ends May 1st, then a $25 processing fee will be assessed per class dropped. No elective tuition refunds will be issued for schedule changes made after August 1.

Written notification of elective withdrawals should be given to the school director. Changes to your child’s schedule will be reflected in your CDA family login. Please allow one week for processing and contact your school office if you notice a discrepancy beyond this timeframe. Adjustments to your tuition account may take up to four weeks to be processed. Please contact the business office should you need further assistance.

Elective Cancellation

While the academy’s goal is to minimize any and all class cancellations, should a class “not make,” CDA will assist the family in determining a suitable substitution. If one cannot be found, CDA will credit the student’s monthly account for the full amount or issue a refund if the account has already been paid in full. Please note that refunds may take up to four weeks to process.
