CDA Junior Rides to Win
Junior Jaclyn White Rides in the Worlds
Jaclyn White and her American Quarter Horses, Versionary and Joe Sudden, qualified for the 2011 Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show. The Ford Youth World took place August 5-13 in Oklahoma City with over 100 riders contending for the title. Jaclyn finished in the top third while competing in Western Riding, Western Pleasure and Trail. She has already qualified for next year's World Championship Show.
First Place Win and a College Scholarship
Jaclyn competed in the Reichert Celebration in September at the Will Rogers Complex in Fort Worth Texas. She had many winning rides and was also a member of a 7 person Youth Team that competed in a special Youth Team Tournament. Jaclyn's team took first place with a total of 229 points. She was the highest earner garnering a total of 62 points herself, while displaying her western prowess expertly putting Versionary and Joe Sudden through the paces. Each member of her team won a $1,000 scholarship.
When asked about her achievements, Jaclyn says, "I love competing and the feeling of partnering with such magnificent animals to achieve our best at each completion. The rewards include not only the great prizes but also the friendships with fellow competitors I have met along the way."
