Athletics are an important component to a Classical Christian Education. Some lessons learned on the field could not be taught in a classroom. Coaches at CDA provide our students with another role model for Christian ethics, behavior and strength. These two aspects of physical education are the reasons why athletics help reveal courage, leadership, and strength of character in our students; and they then flow into every aspect of those students' life creating Christian leadership for the future.

CDA is a 3A TAPPS school. Our football program is Division III. Our athletics program offers multiple sports for both young women and men. In the 2010-11 school year, every varsity team but one made it into the post-season.
