About the Academy

Governed by a board of directors, Coram Deo Academy is a non-denominational classical Christian school that provides a complete education emphasizing a biblical worldview for students kindergarten through twelfth grade. CDA partners with committed Christian families who are willing and able to supervise the home component that complements our 2 or 3 day a week on-campus program. Our part time on-campus concept allows our tuition to remain substantially below traditional Christian school tuition, and is practical for those who can effectively supervise their student's work at home.

Grammar and logic level education covers grades PreK-8 where students are enrolled within a core academic program with options for enrichment in the arts and physical education. The High School operates on a university schedule with a full-time option available through a staffed study and tutorial center. Subject areas offered include Latin, logic, rhetoric and great books, English, Spanish and German, history, mathematics, sciences, fine and oratorical arts, bible and theology, conditioning and athletics.

Memberships and Associations

Coram Deo Academy maintains membership and association with the Association of Classical and Christian Schools (ACCS), the Society for Classical Learning (SCL), The Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) and the Texas Colloquium, an association of classical and Christian school administrators. This fall, an outside Quality Assurance Team recommended without reservation and overwhelmingly in favor of Coram Deo Academy accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). A perfunctory vote to confirm this accreditation will occur in December 2006. In addition to our relationships with these academic institutions, the CPA firm of Ratliff and Summerville performs an annual audit of our accounting records.
