Dear Parents,
Gardening images abound in Scripture and in education. New growth each spring is a powerful reminder of our need to be in community. We are grafted into the Body of Christ by faith and will wither if we cut ourselves off from the vine; daily personal devotions as well as weekly corporate worship are essential.
Planting seeds, nurturing and watering them, protecting and weeding the garden also work at the level of ideas and learning. We invite you to co-labor with us during these precious, formative years.
Warm regards,
Barbara Rogers
CDA Admission Director

Electives
Priority elective registration ends tomorrow meaning a $25 drop/change fee is assessed for changes made through the end of July. After August 1, elective tuition is non-refundable.
You may register for electives from your CDA family log-in once your student has been enrolled. Most electives are offered on Fridays in 90 minute blocks; tuition is $445 per class/sport. After-school electives such as math/ Latin lab meet for 45 minutes and cost $225. Summer athletic camps are also available along with a few academic classes such as Latin Prelude and Math Camp.
Waiting lists are maintained so if you found a favorite class closed before, you may want to look again. You will see "electives in action" at the B & N Book Fair on May 4. Elective information will also be available at the new parent coffees.

Learn Latin with me
My own children have benefited greatly from their study of Latin at Coram Deo Academy. Alas, I was not blessed with such an opportunity growing up. I hope you will enjoy expanding your knowledge and will come learn Latin with me....
ego sum vitis vos palmites qui manet in me et ego in eo hic fert fructum multum quia sine me nihil potestis facere
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."
--John 15:5
