Academy Previews
Learn about the means and meaning of educating coram deo from CDA Headmaster Bill Rector. Academy Previews are not campus specific but rather these evening sessions provide a more in-depth explanation of Christian classical education to all inquiring families regardless of intended admission location.
Preview meetings will resume in the fall. If you were unable to attend a live meeting this year, we invite you to follow the recorded presentation below.
A Child's Garden: PreK – First Grades Preview

Launch your little one on a classical Christian education as you cultivate a love of learning through CDA’s collaborative model. Discover the delights of the grammar stage and plant the seeds early so your child will flourish in the logic and rhetoric levels. "A Child’s Garden" meetings will resume in the fall.
2012-2013 Campus Visit Days
Many families find it helpful to tour our classrooms and observe CDA’s dedicated faculty in action. Campus tours are offered one morning a month from November through April and include a brief presentation about classical Christian education. Children are welcome to attend with their parents. 2012-2013 Shadow Days and Upper School Visitation
Older students often express a desire to sit in on a class for a more tangible understanding of what it would be like to attend Coram Deo Academy. “Shadow Days” provide candidates for grades 8 and above with a special opportunity to get a first-hand experience including an upper school tour and class observation/participation.
Due to the nature of CDA’s university schedule, advanced registration is required. This ensures that a suitable schedule can be arranged—most prospective students don’t want to come take a test on exam day!
While CDA cannot accommodate a full day of “shadowing” a current CDA student’s schedule, visitation will include an upper school tour, classroom time, and Q & A with the upper school director about graduation requirements, college placement, high school athletics and fine arts, etc. Shadow Days for the Flower Mound Campus generally coincide with Campus Visit Days; individual visits at the Collin County and Dallas locations may be arranged by contacting the school office.
