About At Home
Coram Deo Academy’s @ Home Program is designed to assist parents in educating their Christian family to live all of life coram deo. This Latin phrase means “before God” or “in God’s presence” and describes the intent: all endeavors, all studies are to be done in God’s presence and to His glory.
Students enrolled in CDA @ Home follow the same rich curriculum as the site-based schools but are fully instructed by parents at home. This option is available for grades 1-6 and enables the parent to supervise the student’s core academic education with confidence founded on CDA’s well-structured classical curriculum.
Families are encouraged to adhere to a weekly schedule similar to the site-based program. Daily lesson plans and assignments are structured to guide progress; however, the pace is truly set by the homeschooling family.
Arts, athletics and tutorial services may be available as electives to local students for an additional charge.
The 2011-2012 tuition schedule for the CDA @ Home Program will be published once adjustments to this option have been finalized. Please contact the admission office for additional information.
