A Dream for Flower Mound Campus
Coram Deo Academy has grown from its modest start in 1999 at one location to 743 students at three campuses, an average growth rate of 59 percent per year. In summer 2005, Coram Deo Academy embarked on a new phase of permanence by purchasing 15 acres in Flower Mound. The property includes a facility that is housing the Lower School students, while it is being renovated. When complete it will accommodate up to 180 students per day in 10 classrooms, representing a total part-time student enrollment of 360.
Phase One Campus Development 2006-2009/10
The goal of Phase One is to provide a permanent built environment to house all academic, artistic, athletic and administrative functions for the Flower Mound K-12 operation for several years or until additional enrollment requires expansion.
Build Upper (Logic) School and New Campus Entry
It would be desirable to build a new Upper School classroom facility with 12-14 classrooms and support space for 216-252 students per day and a part-time student enrollment of 432-504. The addition of this building would provide permanent facilities for all K-12 programming to support 396-432 students per day or a total student enrollment of 792-864 students. Currently 236 students are enrolled at Flower Mound Upper and 254 at Flower Mound Lower schools, so the facility improvements could accommodate a 64% or more increase in total enrollment at the Flower Mound campus. Building this facility would include construction of a new main campus entrance off of Wichita Trail.

Gymnasium and Assembly Space
Construct a 9,000 square foot gymnasium facility with competition grade flooring, boards, and collapsing bleachers. The facility could include a stage and be convertible to serve as an assembly space for 600. This could free the current gymnatorium for performing arts, assembly, and other uses.
Beyond Phase One
Also under consideration are plans to provide additional classroom facilities, a commons building, science center and administrative building, when the student population grows to exceed the phase one facilities.
RhetoricSchool Facilities
Build high school facilities with 10 classrooms, especially library and art, music and science facilities, plus campus improvements. The logic school would move into the space previously used by the high school level students. This expansion would provide space for 180 high school students daily or a high school enrollment of 360.
New Grammar School Facilities
Replace the current lower school classroom facility with a new building of higher quality design and construction standards.
Commons Facility and Pedestrian Garden
Build a commons facility to house a school library, dining area, teacher lounge and a theatre. This building would connect to each of the three classroom facilities via covered walkways and be surrounded by a pedestrian garden, highlighting the beauty of God’s creation for all who pass through.
Science Center
Build a facility specially designed for study and experimentation in the natural and physical sciences. The building would include aquarium, terrarium and greenhouse, dedicated laboratory space, and a classroom telescope.
Administrative Facility
After such time when student enrollment fills all existing space, build a separate space for the academy’s business and administrative functions.
